Who has the right to vote in the Scottish election?
All legal residents over 16 years old can vote!
(yes, that includes international students)
DO you need ID to vote for your mspS?
NO! You do not need ID to vote for MSPs, still, it is quicker to vote if you take the polling card they mail you just before the election.
Can students vote from their university address?
YES! You can register both at your term-time address and back at home, so long as you only vote at one of these!
How do you sign up for a postal vote?
Go to https://www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote If you’d prefer to vote by post, or think you won’t be able to vote on polling day.
