Making Sex Work, Work! - A collaborative webinar with Óige Ghlas

In November 2020, the Scottish Young Greens and Óige Ghlas (the Irish Young Greens) held a webinar on sex work and sex works’ rights in Scotland and Ireland. The project was part of the Scottish Young Greens Just Transition Webinar Series that was supported by the Greens/ EFA Group in the European Parliament and the European Green Party.

We had amazing guest speakers from Scot-Pep and Sex Workers Alliance Ireland…

Scot-Pep is a sex worker-led charity that works towards the safety, rights and health of everyone who sells sex in Scotland. Their principle of Sex Worker Rights are Human Rights is key for their fight.

Sex Workers Alliance Ireland (SWAI)'s mission statement is to advance the human rights, health, safety, participation and dignity of female, male, cis and trans sex workers. The organisation is fighting with sex workers to get better access to rights, health and justice in Ireland.
