GOOD NEWS…
The latest and lightest to brighten your day

Happy St. Andrew’s Day!

It’s the 30th November which means it’s also St. Andrew’s Day - the celebration of Scotland’s Patron Saint.

In 2006, the Scottish Parliament declared St Andrew's Day a public holiday. It’s not law, but most Scottish employers can give their staff a day off and close for the day on the 30th November, or the closest Friday or Monday if the date falls on a weekend.

St. Andrew is also Patron Saint of other places, like Greece, Romania, and Russia - to name a few - as well as Barbados (who just said buh-bye to the Queen and became a republic after 55 years of independence)

Will you be having haggis, neaps and tatties tonight? Or have you already started the holiday chocolates?!

Make the most of the last month of 2021. Wrap up in the cold and snowy weather and look forward to the next newsletter on Hogmanay!

Be yourself and stay safe ❤️
